          Call for Papers

          ARBITRATION AND LAW is the earliest professional law review on arbitration in mainland China. It is sponsored by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC, also known as the Arbitration Court of the China Chamber of International Commerce) and the Arbitration Institute of the China Chamber of International Commerce. Since its first publication more than 20 years ago, ARBITRATION AND LAW has consistently introduced the latest developments in international arbitration and paid close attention to the theory and practice of arbitration in mainland China.

           

          Four volumes are published each year by Law Press China. Features of the ARBITRATION AND LAW include but are not limited to: (1) law review articles; (2) critical notes and commentaries; (3) case analyses and book reviews; (4) legal information; (5) comparative studies; (6) conference / meeting reviews; and (7) translations.

           

          ARBITRATION AND LAW welcomes submission of materials on arbitration (including commercial arbitration and investment arbitration) from scholars, practitioners and students . Papers cover legal issues (including civil and commercial law issues) which are common or frequently addressed in arbitration cases are also welcomed.

           

          1. Papers can be written in English and Chinese;

          2. Papers must be accompanied by an abstract of 200-300 words and 3-5 keywords. It should also indicate the author’s name, title, the organization he/she is affiliated to and contact information.

          3. Citation Format: Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. English Footnotes should conform to the latest edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform Citation System.

          4. Papers should be sent to: law@cietac.org.

          5. The views expressed in all contributions to the ARBITRATION AND LAW are those of the individual authors and are not to be taken as representing the views of the Publishers.

          6. Remuneration (RMB0.1 per word) will be paid after publication.
